It only took me about 5 minutes on Google, and 5

seconds on Indeed, for me to understand how challenging being a paid writer in 2024 is.  And you have to be paid! Houses cost a cool million + a kidney, and coffee is 10 dollars a pop (the latter isn't even a joke).  Everybody knows that if you're not making money in 2024 you're gonna get naturally selected right out of the earth server before you even know it.

So where does that leave me? How does a young graduate,

and aspiring writer, navigate this new landscape?  Frankly, I don't know what the answer is, but I do know at some point somebody is going to want to see if I can actually write.  So for now, that's what I'm going to do. Write. Write like my life depends on it.

Fortunately for me, even in my small apartment,

with all those existential housing cost fears swirling around, when I'm writing, it all fades away.  Because it's who I am.  Writing is me.  So if you're looking for a writer, and like what I write.  Give me ring.  You know where I'll be.
